The impact of sleep loss is amazing. Missing 90 minutes of sleep a night, means that your concentration and performance in a knowledge economy is considerably diminished by 33%.
A study by K Anders found that Elite performers sleep for an average of 8.5 hours, the population average is just 6 hours and 51 minutes. So who is right? I have my suspicions…

Experts have long emphasized that developing good sleeping habits can help to maintain our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Ongoing sleep deprivation can also cause severe, long-term health conditions:
- Heart disease and heart failure
- Weak immune system
- High blood pressure
- Kidney disease
- Depression
- Diabetes
- Obesity
